Join FAC Peer Support and Carolynne M for a free QiGong Session
FAC is hosting a free Qigong session on February 17, 2026 at 5pm Eastern Time.
February sits in the heart of winter, often quieter, heavier, and slower. It can be a time when energy feels low and the days still feel long, yet small moments of light begin to return.
February can be a time to reconnect with yourself and others at a pace that feels right. FAC’s Peer Support encourages you to continue caring for your well-being through rest, self-care, and meaningful connection, whether that’s reaching out to a friend, participating in a support group, or offering yourself patience and compassion. Small, intentional acts of care can help nurture resilience and steadiness as the year unfolds. Join FAC for this Qi Gong session and make gentle movement part of your self-care this February and create a sense of light during the winter months.

Are you feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and drained by the uncertainty and changes taking place in the world? You aren’t alone! Carolynne invites you to join her in a 60-minute moving meditation designed to help you gain energy, relax, calm your mind, and bring your attention to your inner world. Qi gong is a gentle, easy ancient Chinese practice that can be done by anyone, anywhere, at any time. It utilizes focused breathing, visualization, movement, and sound to unblock the blockages in the body created by stress, leaving you feeling relaxed, peaceful, and invigorated. Its beauty lies in its simplicity, effectiveness, and flexibility.
You don’t need any experience or special equipment. You can stand, sit or lie down during the practice. You DO NEED a place where you won’t be disturbed for 60 minutes. Please turn OFF ALL electronic devices. This is your time for a little self-care!
Dress in loose, comfortable clothes and have a chair nearby to sit on or hold onto. Bring along a smile and an open heart, then let the energy soothe you. You may also have some water available for after the practice.
